On this Transfiguration Sunday we remember the story from the Gospel of Matthew telling of the appearance of Jesus with Moses and Elijah on the mountaintop. The disciples Peter, James and John were witnesses to this event. Certainly this must have convinced the disciples that Jesus really was the Son of God, but did it have a lasting impact on their lives? If God were to prove Gods existence today, how much of a difference would that really make?
