Movie Night
Movie Night is held the last Friday of every month. We come together over dinner to discuss the latest movies, particularly those with a message related to spirituality and the depth of human psychological and social interaction. Recent movies discussed have included Suffragette, Philomena, Spotlight and The Life of Pi.

The Book Club
The Book Club meets four times a year to discuss books that touch upon issues of human relationships, spirituality and the deeper meaning of life. The titles chosen for group discussion are suggested by group members and decision making is by consensus.
We endeavour to keep our discussions respectful of everyone’s opinion and judgment of any given book, and find that this enriches the process of enjoying the wonderful resources that the written word offers to our lives.
All are welcome to attend any meeting and suggestions for good reads are always welcome.
“Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations.”
- Henry David Thoreau
Coffee hour
Coffee hour is held each Sunday morning in the Great Hall after our Worship Service. This is a time of conversation and friendship over refreshments.
The Sunday School Picnic
The Sunday School Picnic is held each year on the second Sunday in June. During the Worship Service we recognize the children in our Sunday School and thank the teachers for their leadership and care. After the service we enjoy barbecued food and games on the church lawn, including a bouncy castle!
Musical Concerts
Musical Concerts are held regularly in the Sanctuary at Rosedale Presbyterian Church. They have included performances of opera, classical and popular music by Alessia Naccarato, John Greer, Brooke Dufton, Lawrence Cotton, Rachel Andrist, Mehdi Ghazi and the Penthalia Singers. The Church was also the host of “Recitals at Rosedale” for two seasons.

Adult Education
Adult Education programmes are held throughout the year. These may be during the day or in the evenings and have included many topics of interest – faith and science, Bible studies, understanding sacred music, video series and other topics. We also regularly engage in guided tours of the AGO and the ROM to understand the relationship between the visual arts, archeology and faith.
