Founded in 1908, Rosedale Presbyterian Church is a vibrant, inclusive congregation dedicated to making a practical and spiritual impact in the Toronto community. We serve as a hub for outreach, supporting families, youth, and older adults across the city.

Your Impact: Programs We Support

Your participation in the Gala directly sustains these essential community programs:

• The Homework Program: Leading a multi-congregation coalition to provide academic support to children in the St. James Town neighbourhood.

• Evangel Hall Support: Long-time supporters of this downtown charity, where our members prepare and serve meals to assist those in subsidized housing and vital community services.

• On-Site Community Hub: Our facilities house several key programs, including:

  • Let's Grow: A supportive program for approximately 25 adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, promoting independence through art, music, and cooking.

  • Early Childhood Programs: Full-day pre-school and day-care programmes for about 30 children in our Sunday School rooms.

• Arts & Culture: Providing rehearsal space for ensembles like the Penthelia Singers and the Nawa Choir (a Syrian choir), and hosting Scottish Country Dancing classes for children and adults.

Tickets and Reservations

We'd love to have you join us on Saturday, November 15th!

Tickets for the Fall Fundraiser are $80 each. Please note that tickets are limited and sell fast.

Tickets will be available for purchase this Sunday (October 19) following the service.

Please consider inviting a friend or purchasing an extra ticket to be used at the Minister's discretion, ensuring that everyone in our community has a chance to attend. (A tax receipt for the charitable portion of the ticket price will be issued after the event.)

We are also reaching out to ask for your partnership by donating an item or gift certificate for our Silent Auction. Your generous donation will be advertised during the event.

Please start thinking about suitable items in the following categories:

• Experiences: Sports, Concert, or Theatre Tickets

• Getaways: Use of Vacation Properties or Packages

• Gifts/Services: Gift Cards, Certificates, and Service Vouchers

• Culinary/Arts: Home Dinner Parties, Home Concerts/Recitals, Wine, or Artwork

How to Donate an Auction Item

1. Complete the Donation Form: Follow the links below to download the auction donation form and a letter to merchants. Insert your details into the forms.

2. Provide Details: On the form, you'll need to describe the item, note its approximate retail value, set a reserve price (if applicable), and indicate who is donating.

3. Submit the Form: Please send your completed donation form to the Church office at office@rpcc.ca so we can begin cataloguing the items.
