MEDIA MINISTRY

Media Production and Operations

Rosedale Presbyterian Church is committed to extending our worship experience beyond the walls of the sanctuary through professional-grade media production and digital outreach. Our media team manages the church’s YouTube channel, RPC Toronto Media, where we live-stream weekly worship services and special events, ensuring our congregation and broader community have uninterrupted access to our ministry.

Central to our efforts is a focus on excellence in live production. Our team oversees all technical aspects of our Sunday services, utilizing advanced switcher directing and precision camera control to ensure our visual content is effectively captured and broadcasted. We also manage a sophisticated live sound system that integrates in-person and remote audio networking, delivering studio-quality sound across all platforms.

Beyond the live broadcast, our team captures and preserves the musical life of the church, including performances by our organist, choir, and soloists. These recordings are meticulously edited and archived, creating a rich repository of church history and providing a spiritual resource for those unable to attend in real-time.

Through these efforts, we strive to maintain a high standard of media production that not only supports our worship but actively engages our community, both locally and globally.

A Note of Gratitude

IT & Media Manager, Austin Zhao, would like to express his deep gratitude to Director of Music, Christopher Dawes, as well as Nick Gorham and Vivian Yu, for their unwavering support and invaluable assistance to the media ministry since its establishment in August 2021. Their dedication has been instrumental in our success; this ministry would not have reached its current level of excellence without their partnership. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and collaboration.

Blessed by This Ministry?

Your Support in Action

Since the beginning of our media ministry in 2021, we have been on a journey to bring the beauty of Rosedale Presbyterian Church to you, wherever you are. Thanks to the vision and generosity of donors just like you, we have reached levels of production quality that were once only dreams.

Your contributions have allowed us to achieve:

  • Enhanced Visuals: We have moved beyond a single static view to a dynamic multi-camera experience. Your support has allowed us to add more angles, capturing the majesty of the sanctuary, the energy of the choir, and the intimacy of the pulpit.

  • Professional Standards: It isn’t just about a clearer picture; it’s about honouring the message we share with a standard of worship that reflects its importance.

  • A "Front Row" Seat for Everyone: These technical improvements serve one goal: to make you feel like you are truly present. Whether you are watching from your living room or halfway around the world, you are no longer just an observer—you are in the room with us.

  • Share the Hope: Every time you give, you help us broadcast the message of Christ’s love to a world that needs it more than ever.

Help Us Continue to Reach New Heights - We are incredibly proud of the "greatness" we have achieved together since 2021. If you enjoy our weekly broadcasts and want to help us maintain and further improve this vital ministry, please consider a donation today.

"Your kindness ensures that distance is never a barrier to faith. Because of you, we can turn a screen into a sanctuary and ensure everyone has a seat at the table, regardless of where they are. Thank you!"
