THE ORGAN
This is our magnificent two-manual tracker action pipe organ built and installed by Karl Wilhelm of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, in 1982.
The organ at Rosedale Presbyterian Church is a majestic and grand instrument that fills the sanctuary with powerful and resonant melodies. Its intricate network of pipes, keys, and pedals has been a central part of our worship services for decades, adding a rich and timeless dimension to our musical expressions of faith. During traditional hymns, newer worship songs and the vast, centuries-spanning organ repertoire of our Preludes, Postludes and concerts, the pipe organ's deep, sonorous tones create a reverent and awe-inspiring atmosphere that fill our intimate sanctuary.
As we continue to cherish and maintain this fine instrument, we are motivated by its historical significance and legacy to ensure it remains a vital part of our worship for generations to come.
The two-manual-and-pedal organ has 1,270 pipes organised into 25 ranks.
